Its been a long time coming, but theres some changes afoot at UGAME and new stuff is on the way!
What to expect? There will be a new, fun module to give you guys something to compare yourselves against, a fresh look, bug fixes, as well as changes to the way you submit some information across the site.
This is a minor release which should arrive on your door step within the next week, it is in preparation for a larger release in the coming months with many more changes. The real reason that were hitting you up today however is to get your feedback, what functionality are you really hoping for here? If we were to create just one thing that you would really enjoy what would it be?

If i got it right he wants a function so the group you have made kan write bloggs, for exampel : some guys create a group. This group were made of som guys that will make a site where teams can play cups, leages ladders etc. And then the owners can write a blogg in the group where they give som info and letting the people outside know whats happening, if you see my point? =) If that wasen't what mejle meant i would like a function that i just described ;)

Exactly as Skyfly mentioned - it would be an informative tool for the group to reach out to its users. One could draw a parallel to Facebook where groups and fan pages are able to send out messages to their users, or allow the users to see on their update overview, that there is a new update/blog. :)

The profile-page needs to look better and be more editable. 'my description' box should be bigger/on the middle and so you could actually put something else on it than just plain, boring text.
Interacting with other sites, fbook, cb, xfire-profilebar whatever are the most popular ones nowerdays, for me it's last.fm!
More action on the site, competitions, some kind of news-thingie (not for scene-news, more like whats generally going on around the globe concerning gaming - like reviews of upcoming games) on front page which looks kind of silly and messy at the moment.

We are redesigning the whole profile page that is one of the big changes we shall make in the future, were trying to think how to work with xfire but not sure of the best method... and we plan to be running competitions in the future for sure.

i think it would be nice to have some sort of matchtracker thing (a bit like a plugin facebook app perhaps?) which shows when teams are playing and where to watch them. perhaps also live score updates? - not sure how that would work though.
i also really like it when sites are customizeable regarding layout, a bit like bbc.co.uk or the old facebook when you could move sections around depending on personal preference.

I'd love to see some kind of a database of players, their teams and the matches they played. You know, to keep track of every action happening. Then there can be leaderboards 'n all that stuff. The best way to attract more people is by offering competition goodies :)

It would be a series of mini games to test your pro gaming skills in the pro genres. For example: RTS - Micro manage a mini battle, FPS - AWP target practise, REACTIONS, HAND EYE COORD etc... testing all the elements a pro gamer needs and giving the player an overal score which reflects their leetness and potential to be pro. Involvement of exisiting teams would be incorporated - preferably utilising real logos in game and allowing the player to choose who to play for - with code entry required for official pro gamer players. This leads to a highscore table eg. Fnatic Fan scores, Fnatic Pro Scores, Reason gaming fan scores.. etc etc. Prizes could include team trials, meeting team players, signed stuff.. In game advertising placement would be available for sponsorship.. and to go one crazy step further - limit the amount of time that a player can spend playing the game per day like nintendo training - only one score per day allowed.. BUT to gain another play they need to fill in a survey (provided by sponsors) for an understanding of this investigate Dragon Wars (Facebook / Myspace App). This then generates the game maker a decent ongoing revenue in addition to other advertising. Final idea! Put video footage of pro gamers into the game and let the process become narated.. so the pros are training and egging you on to get a better score.. giving you hints.. as if you were training to be a boxer and you had a coach!!!
