Just like the title inquires. What aspects of a LAN competition are you most concerned about.Whether it be; Location, Prizes, How easy it is to sign up and compete (no invite only etc), extras like booths etc. the BYOC or anything else!

Good prizes and location, and a lot of players who take part in it.July 22, 2008 at 05:10
People who actually play games instead of leeching on DC++ all day >_>July 22, 2008 at 09:24
People who actually play fun games instead of Wow and CS all day >_>Oh wait this was about competition :s

#4No, I agree like sure I go for mainly the competition. But whenever you are near the BYOC its WoW or CS alllllll day. I would love to see a group of people just DMing quake or playing some huge FFA in SC or wc3. (yes I know I stick mainly to competition games)
But I rather see that stuff than a guitar hero stand and WoW all day long.

The one LAN I went to where there was no CS and a low amout of WoW was QHLan, obviously. Only Quakeworld and some DotA, taken I was the absolute worst one of everyone playing QW I still had a blast (I top-fragged one TDM game in the "amatuer"-tournament! :D)And theres always some nice competition there, hope they still carry on arranging it. I know its small but size doesn't mather! ;o
